Privacy Policy for Our Website
This page explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data. We follow the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the ICO framework. If you have questions, contact us at [email protected].
Who We Are
We operate an informational review website about betting sites not on GamStop. We do not hold a UK Gambling Commission (UKGC) licence. We do not accept bets, process payments, or operate any gambling service.
What Data We Collect
We collect data in three main ways. Each method is explained below.
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies are small files stored on your device when you visit our site. We use Google Analytics to track page views, session duration, and approximate location. This data is anonymised and does not identify you personally.
Contact Form Submissions
When you submit a contact form, we collect your name and email address. We use this information only to respond to your query. We do not add you to any mailing list without your explicit consent.
Affiliate Tracking Links
Our site contains affiliate links to offshore bookmakers not licensed by the UKGC. When you click one of these links, the bookmaker may set a tracking cookie on your device. This cookie records that you arrived via our site, so we may receive a commission. We do not receive your personal account details from those bookmakers. However, their own privacy policies govern how they handle your data once you register with them.
Third-Party Data Sharing
We share limited data with two categories of third party. These are affiliate networks and Google Analytics.
- Affiliate networks: We pass anonymised click data to affiliate networks such as Income Access and Cellxpert. No personally identifiable information is shared.
- Google Analytics: We send anonymised browsing data to Google Analytics (Universal Analytics and GA4). Google may process this data on servers outside the UK. You can opt out via the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
We do not sell your personal data to any third party. We do not share your data with advertisers for direct marketing purposes.
Your Rights Under UK GDPR
You have specific rights regarding your personal data under UK GDPR. These rights are listed below.
- Right of access: You can request a copy of the data we hold about you.
- Right to deletion: You can ask us to delete your personal data from our records.
- Right to opt out: You can withdraw consent for cookies at any time via our cookie banner.
- Right to correction: You can ask us to correct inaccurate data we hold about you.
- Right to portability: You can request your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days, in line with ICO guidelines.
Cookie Consent
When you first visit our site, a cookie consent banner appears. You can accept all cookies, reject non-essential cookies, or manage your preferences individually. You can change your cookie settings at any time by clicking the cookie preferences link in our footer.
Essential cookies are required for the site to function correctly. These cannot be disabled. Non-essential cookies, such as analytics cookies, are only set after you give consent.
Data Retention
We retain contact form data for a maximum of 12 months. Analytics data is retained for 14 months within Google Analytics, then automatically deleted. Affiliate click data is retained for up to 90 days for commission verification purposes.
Data Security
We use HTTPS encryption on all pages of this site. Access to any stored contact data is restricted to authorised personnel only. We review our security practices at least once per year.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The date at the bottom of this page shows when it was last revised. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
Contact and Complaints
For any data-related request, email [email protected]. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the ICO at ico.org.uk.
